R&D-led company, MV Diagnostics Ltd, develop and market veterinary diagnostic kits and reagents worldwide. We welcomed the company to their new office space at Roslin Innovation Centre within our first few weeks of opening.
MV Diagnostics is a research and development company that aims to deliver innovative technical solutions to diagnostic problems.
They supply high quality veterinary ELISA kits and recombinant proteins/peptides to provide outstanding diagnostic performance for your laboratory.
The company is dedicated to the development and provision of innovative immunoassays and reagents for use in clinical and research laboratories worldwide.
"I enjoyed a hard hat tour of the development in May. It looks like this will be a smart place to work. I met with a few of the other occupants too and hopefully this will give rise to opportunities for collaboration once we move in later this summer."
Dr Neil J Watt, MV Diagnostics LtdMV Diagnostics was formed in 2000 by Professor Gordon Harkiss, an immunologist, and Dr Neil Watt, a veterinary pathologist.
The company work with collaborators nationally and internationally sharing extensive experience and to resolve challenges in the diagnosis, control and eradication of animal diseases.
MV Diagnostics has developed novel ELISAs and multiplex tests with commercial partners Enfer Scientific, Ireland, and Hyphen BioMed, France. The tests are involved in health schemes and diagnostics in a diverse range of countries in Europe, the Middle East and North America.
Presented with a diagnostic problem, MV Diagnostics has the expertise and experience to harness novel solutions to meet and overcome the challenge and provide cost effective diagnostic kits with others in development.
