Energy Innovation Emporium Webinar Series 2021

Monday 20th September 2021, 0:00am to Monday 18th October 2021, 0:00am

Online webinars

This series of webinars will use COP26 as a springboard to greater collaboration and investment, especially international. It will inform the global energy community how Scottish R&I can help deliver carbon emission reduction targets, especially around Nationally Determined Contributions, to encourage collaborative activity between Scottish academic research base and external parties.

Energy Technology Partnership (ETP) in conjunction with the research pools and innovation centre has run an industry-facing event based on energy for the last 3 years.

Given the impact of the pandemic, and the looming COP26, it has been decided to replace the single event with a series of challenge-themed 2-hour webinars.

One webinar per fortnight starting 1pm Monday 10 May, and thereafter at the same time every fortnight until Closing Ceremony on 18 October 2021.

Forthcoming Events:

  • 20th September: The importance of science for marine renewables
  • 4th October: Bioenergy for future energy scenarios and beyond
