Science Entrepreneur Club Mixer

Thursday 30th April 2026, 11:44am

Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) Knowledge Exchange and Commercialisation Unit is excited to announce an opportunity for Campus Tenants and BioBIC companies to engage with investors at a Science Entrepreneur Club (SEC) Mixer.

Group of people in business meeting

Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) is sponsoring a series of Founder-Investor Mixers in collaboration with the SEC, which will be centred around facilitating meaningful connections between investors from SEC’s BioCapital Network and bioscience entrepreneurs.

The Mixers provide the opportunity to discuss thoughts on the industry, share investment opportunities and get to know each other in a more relaxed and personal manner.

Each SEC mixer will focus on a specific sector, tailored with investors who actively work in this space, and hosted at a location (tbc) within the UK.

These mixers are being offered exclusively to the Campus tenants and BioBIC companies in the following sectors:

  • Human Health
  • Animal Health
  • Agri-tech (including Aquaculture)
  • Food & Drink
  • Sustainability / green technology

This opportunity is available exclusively for tenant companies based at BBSRC Campuses and BBSRC-STFC Bio BIC/DTC Bio companies.

Easter Bush Campus is a Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) Innovation Campus and we encourage Roslin Innovation Centre tenants to participate.

If you are interested in attending one of these mixers, please complete the Expression of Interest form by 5pm on 8th May 2026

BBSRC is happy to cover any travel and subsistence (T&S) costs associated with this event to help facilitate your attendance.

Easter Bush Campus is a Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) Innovation Campus.

Roslin Innovation Centre manages a BBSRC Campus Innovation Accelerator Award (CIAA), to support innovation intra and inter-campus collaborations between our tenant/member companies and those on Campus.

Other funding and networking opportunities and initiatives are extended to Roslin innovation Centre tenant companies throughout the year.
