Avian Immunology Research Group Meeting 2026

Wednesday 2nd September 2026, 9:00am to Friday 4th September 2026, 2:00pm

Roslin Institute, Easter Bush Campus

The Roslin Institute hosted a meeting previously in 2012. Since then, the field has advanced enormously, and will provide a platform for researchers and colleagues from both academia and industry from across the world to come together, share ideas and shape the future direction of the community.

This year’s programme reflects the strength and breadth of avian immunology. Sessions spanning innate and adaptive immunity, host–pathogen interactions and the microbiome will sit alongside discussions on genetic resistance, ecology and environment and emerging technologies and models.

Together, these themes highlight the interdisciplinary nature of this field and create opportunities for new insights, collaborations and innovation.

Beyond the science, Roslin hosts have also created space for connection and enjoyment.

The social events will be held at South Hall Complex, Pollock Estate, and are designed to foster informal discussions, strengthen collaboration and ensure that the time shared in Edinburgh is as memorable as it is productive.
