The Avian Research Symposium 2024 is a free online event, held on three consecutive afternoons, on April 29th, 30th, and May 1st 2024, to share and discuss research in avian biology with a focus on highlighting early-career researchers and creating networking opportunities between labs and institutions.
This symposium will showcase current research in all fields of avian biology and exciting developments in the use of avians as model systems.
There will be a combination of short talks and keynote presentations, with opportunities to meet the speakers in dedicated discussion sessions.
Students, support staff, and researchers at all career stages are invited to present on a broad range of topics concerning avian biology and use of avian model systems. Abstract submissions from students and early career researchers are particularly encouraged. Topics include, but are not limited to:
