Tuesday 19th May 2026, 9:00am to Thursday 21st May 2026, 5:00pm
Bruges Meeting and Convention Center (BMCC), Bruges, Belgium
DIAH is the only animal health conference in Europe with a focus on co-development and R&D-collaborations between industry and academia, bringing together early developers and companies to stimulate innovation.
There is a recognised need in the animal health sector in Europe to bring early developers (academia, research organisations, spin-offs/start-ups) and medium- to big sized companies together to facilitate interaction and collaboration between them and thus stimulate innovation.
To fill this gap this conference differentiates from B2B conferences and focuses on innovation in animal health through collaboration in the phase of pre-development / discovery / proof-of-concept.
With its first edition in 2024 (see report of the meeting in Biologicals), the DIAH Conference proved to respond to a clear need for a specialised animal health meeting in Europe focusing on collaboration between academia, research organizations and industry in the stages from discovery to early development.
This was illustrated by international participants coming from Australia, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Ethiopia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mauritius, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom and the United States.
The Innovation Spotlight includes two pitch sessions featuring emerging technologies and emerging start-ups. New and emerging companies and entrepreneurial scientists with novel technologies that have the potential to revolutionise the animal health industry are encouraged to apply.
The expected technologies are innovations related to animal health and/or animal welfare (diagnostics, prevention, vaccines, therapeutics, medical devices, e-health, etc.
Deadline for submission is 31 January 2026.
Approved pitch applicants must be available to present in persons at the DIAH Conference in Bruges, 19 to 21 May 2026.
