Roslin Innovation Centre took exhibition space at two key conferences, hosted by BioDundee and Agrimetrics, to introduce our new gateway development to delegates.
The 17th BioDundee International Conference was held in Dundee on 23rd and 24th May and brought together key people and organisations involved in life sciences, healthcare and associated sectors across Scotland and beyond. The theme of ’One Health – The Solution?' focussed on current issues, advances and challenges; both within the UK, and worldwide. Session Topics included Global Challenges; Health Impacts; Internationalisation; and Finance & Regulations.
With the opening of Roslin Innovation Centre in August, this was an ideal time to exhibit at these key industry events. It was an excellent forum to showcase our facilities and we met with many conference delegates.
Our new gateway to Easter Bush Campus allows for the natural development of business collaborators with laboratory and office space situated close to the science and clinical livestock expertise.

Scotland’s first conference devoted to technical innovation in the agri-food sector took place on 24th May at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston.
Driving Innovation in Scottish Agri-Food presented the latest developments in Scottish agri-food innovation and provided an opportunity to meet the new Agri-Tech centres, learn who the knowledge providers are and understand what support there is for innovation.
“Basically what the agri-tech centres do is to provide applied research for the problems which industry wants solved – and we do that by bringing different partners together.
"Scotland had done particularly well from the funds spent on facilities, with the Roslin research campus outside Edinburgh gaining a considerable share."
