The first University of Edinburgh Sports & Exercise "Satellite Gym" will be opening soon at the Easter Bush Campus.
Roslin Innovation Centre will be the gateway to the rest of the Easter Bush Campus, with shared facilities such as a shop, gym and student services, all located on the ground floor.
The gym, which will be available to all students and staff based on the Campus, is due to launch in time for the start of Semester 1 and will be open Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm.
Featuring a range of state-of-the-art equipment including treadmills, cross trainers, adaptive motion trainers, spin bikes, cable and free weights, functional training pods, half box racks and much more, the new facility will be staffed by University of Edinburgh Sport & Exercise during opening hours.
The new gym facility marks the start of a phased roll out of physical activity opportunities at the Easter Bush Campus, with a group exercise programme, workshops, boot camps and trim trail coming soon.
A confirmed opening date and membership pricing will be announced in a few weeks.
