The Data Driven Innovation (DDI) Fellows Programme is a new initiative specifically designed to help University of Edinburgh staff develop and commercialise innovative ideas. 

An opportunity to be part of a dynamic cohort of innovators and receive the tools, funding and support needed to bring your idea to life.

This unique offering provides staff from across the University of Edinburgh on a permanent contract with support, training and funding to further pursue a spin-out or startup venture through monthly in-person sessions, self-led online learning and tailored guidance from the University’s business development experts and innovation leaders.

The Information Session will highlight how you can benefit from the comprehensive support available throughout the programme.

Programme Highlights:

  • Develop a minimum viable product through expert-led monthly sessions.
  • Access to seed funding and asset creation opportunities.
  • Tailored support from industry and academic leaders.
  • Delivered by the Bayes Centre and Edinburgh Futures Institute.

Applications are welcome from any academic or professional services staff covering any and all sectors, so it’s an exciting opportunity to be part of a really dynamic and varied cohort. 

The call for applications will open on Wednesday 8th October and close at 5pm on Monday 27th October.
