The Northern Light Microscopy flagship product, AMIS, is a compact and fully enclosed design that allows life science bio-imaging experiments to get out of the dark rooms and into your labs.

With a footprint taking up bench space of less than 40 x 40 cm, and designed for laptop control, the AMIS can slot easily into labs of all sizes.

When coupled with the AMIS robust internal laser interlock imaging experiments can be carried out safely and securely.

This session is targeted at Roslin Innovation Centre tenants and members, Roslin Institute group leaders, technical staff and postdocs who are interested in advances in advanced microscopy.

The aim of the event is to ascertain interest in this product, and establish those who may consider piloting the technology and being involved in the development.

You are encouraged to attend and invite any others across the wider University with an interest in this technology.

If there is sufficient interest from Roslin Innovation Centre tenants and Roslin Institute staff, there may be an opportunity to apply for joint funding to an external funder to purchase such a machine in the future.

Invitations have been circulated to RIC tenants and members, and Roslin Institute staff.

Please email us if you have not received an invitation and would like to attend.
