Roslin Technologies offer opportunities for investors looking to capitalise on the growing demand for food and agricultural products.

Formed as a joint venture between the University of Edinburgh, two external investors and commercialisation partners with strong global industry networks and a track record of successful commercialisation in animal agriculture.  

The company plays a leading role in delivering strong commercial impact from new developments in the agritech industry and work closely with the adjacent world renowned Roslin Institute and University of Edinburgh's Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies.

commercialisation

Among the first technologies planned for commercialisation is a low-cost manufacturing system to produce therapeutic proteins in chicken eggs, allowing drug discovery for diseases; methods for biobanking poultry germplasm to preserve genetic diversity for future generations; and novel vaccines and diagnostics for veterinary markets to enhance animal welfare.
